素材には､織生地のへﾘﾝﾎﾞﾝ柄をﾆｯﾄ産地の和歌山にて｢編み組織｣で構築したｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙﾊﾟｲﾙ生地｡希少な編み機でしか編むことができない立体感溢れるへﾘﾝﾎﾞﾝ柄を表地に持ち､裏糸に糸の撚りが無い特殊な｢ｾﾞﾛﾂｲｽﾄﾔｰﾝ(無撚糸)｣を使用｡密度の詰まった生地でありながら､軽やかで柔らかく肌当たりに優れる着心地の良さと､着込むほどに風合いと雰囲気を増す上質な素材感を作り上げた生地となっています｡

Loop & Weft" is a brand that uses organic cotton and recycled cotton, and produces Japanese-made cut-and-sew garments with rich texture, careful sewing, and soft comfort.

The material is an original pile fabric with a woven herringbone pattern constructed in a “knitting structure” in Wakayama, a place of production of knitted fabrics. The outer fabric has a three-dimensional herringbone pattern that can only be knitted on rare knitting machines, and the backing yarn is a special “zero twist yarn (non-twisted yarn)” with no twisting. While it is a dense fabric, it is light, soft, and comfortable to the touch, and the more it is worn, the more it develops a texture and atmosphere.

The shape of the design is based on the motif of the classic cardigans of the 50s. The long distance of the pocket opening, neck, and front and back turnover are painstakingly piped with milled fabric, and the back hem is reconstructed with the characteristic detail of ribbed hems, similar to sweatshirts and other garments. The buttons are clear black cat's eye buttons. The combination of the characteristic detail design and the herringbone knit material creates a cardigan with a rich atmosphere.

The sewing is mainly done with narrow 2-needle stitches, and the stitch work that further enhances the texture of the material is a key point of this time-consuming sewing specification. The shoulder line is back sewn by dropping it on the back side of the body, so that the shoulder line is not visible from the front and the shoulder looks three-dimensional, and the fit of the entire shoulder is also made to be a specification that improves the fit. The overall silhouette is based on the motif of a classic cardigan.
